Abstract:
In a baggage reception management system according to the present invention, baggage 4 having a wireless medium 2 attached thereto is placed on a mark 3 indicated on a conveyor 5. An image of the mark 3 indicated on the conveyor 5 will be captured by an imaging device 20 if the baggage 4 is taken off the conveyor 5 by a user 6 having a wireless medium 1, allowing a movement detecting means 302 to detect if the baggage has moved, while a position detecting means 301 detects the positions of the wireless medium 1 and the wireless medium 2. An abnormality determining means 303 determines if there is an abnormality, such as someone else taking the baggage 4 or the baggage 4 being left behind, according to the results of calculating the movement speeds of the user 6 and the baggage 4 and the distance therebetween from the positions of the wireless medium 1 and the wireless medium 2 as detected by the position detecting means 301.
