Abstract:
Provided is a balance exercise device which a user can use safely without feeling any danger and which ensures that the user feels, with his or her body, improvement in the sense of balance, effects of increase in muscular strength, and the like. This balance exercise device (1) includes: a mounting part (2) on which a user (M) can mount in various postures; a rocking mechanism (3) that is disposed below the mounting part (2) and that reciprocally rocks the mounting part (2) to the front and back and the left and right; a drive mechanism (4) that drives the rocking mechanism (3); and a base part (5) which has the rocking mechanism (3) and the drive mechanism (4) arranged thereon and which can be placed on a floor surface (F). The mounting part (2) has an upwardly convex shape. Additionally, the base part (5) has a downwardly convex shape. The mounting part (2) also has a hemispherical skirt portion (38) that covers the base part (5).
