Abstract:
By opening/closing sliding doors of a double draft shield of a balance at the same time, the opening time of the sliding doors of the double draft shield is shortened, the amount of outside air flowing into the double draft shield is reduced, and repeatability in weighing is improved. A balance has a double draft shield consisting of an inner draft shield that covers a weighing pan and an outer draft shield that covers the inner draft shield, wherein each draft shield has sliding doors (13, 29) that can be opened/closed on the side surface and includes a pair of engaging members (41, 51) linked to move the sliding doors (13, 29) positioned on the same side surface side of each draft shield in the same direction, one of the engaging members (51) is provided with a protrusion (60), the other engaging member (41) is provided with a recess (43), the protrusion (60) may be inserted into and retracted from the recess (43), when the protrusion (60) is inserted in the recess (43), the pair of the engaging members (41, 51) is in the engagement state, and in this engagement state, the sliding doors (13, 29) can be linked and opened/closed at the same time.
