Title:
BALANCER MECHANISM FOR ROTATING SHAFT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/143408
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a balancer mechanism for a rotating shaft that can minimize displacement of the shaft center of a rotating shaft without augmenting a bearing member supporting the rotating shaft. A balancer mechanism (20) for a rotating shaft comprises an assist torque generating means (21) to generate assist torque to offset at least a portion of an unbalanced torque. The assist torque generating means (21) comprises a cam member (24) fixed to a rotating shaft (4), a cam follower member (25) that abuts and follows the cam member (24), and a gas spring (27) that applies the assist torque to the rotating shaft (4) via the cam follower member (25) and the cam member (24). The balancer mechanism is provided with a reactive force generating means (22) for generating a balancing moment that offsets a moment that inclines the rotating shaft (4) in a direction that separates the shaft from the assist torque generating means (21) around a bearing member (9) by way of the biasing force of the gas spring (27), wherein the reactive force generating means (22) is provided on the side approximately opposite to the assist torque generating means (21) with the rotating shaft (4) therebetween.
