Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a ball joint dust cover that can prevent the advancement of wear and that can ensure long-term sealing, even if muddy water or rust powder infiltrates the ball joint dust cover from a stud-mounting-part side. In order to solve said problem, the present invention provides a ball joint dust cover A that has, at one end of a cover main body 1 that comprises an elastic material, a stud-mounting part 2 through which a stud 4 of a ball joint B passes and that has, at the other end, a socket-mounting part 3 on which is mounted a socket 5 that holds a ball-head part 42 of the stud 4, the stud-mounting part 2 having a securing part 22 that holds and secures the stud 4, and the socket-mounting part 3 having a sliding part that is slidably attached to the socket 5.
