Abstract:
Provided is a low-cost ball screw device obtained by reducing the size and number of parts thereof. A ball screw device 1 is provided with: a ball screw 4 disposed at one end of a motor shaft 3; and rolling bearings 7, 8 for rotatably supporting on a housing 5 the motor shaft 3 and a nut 6. The ball screw 4 is provided with: a threaded shaft 9 having a helical thread groove 9a formed in the outer peripheral surface of the threaded shaft 9; the nut 6 having a helical thread groove 6a formed in the inner peripheral surface of the nut 6; balls 11 accommodated between both the thread grooves facing each other; and end plates 17, 18. The ball screw device 1 is further provided with: a rotor 2b which is mounted to the motor shaft 3, is disposed concentric with the threaded shaft 9, and is rotated together with the nut 6; and a stator 2a mounted to the housing 5. The nut 6 of the ball screw 4 is formed integrally with the motor shaft 3, the inner rolling surface 8a of the rolling bearing 8 is formed directly on the outer periphery of the nut 6, and the axial center of the inner rolling surface 8a is disposed at the center of the overall width of the nut 6.
