Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a ball screw device wherein rotation of a nut that is a linear movement element can be stopped at low cost. [Solution] A nut 3 has, in an outer circumferential surface, a guidance groove 18 that can engage in a circumferential direction with a rotation stopping member 6. An insertion hole 7 of a housing 5 has, in an inner circumferential surface, a retention groove 21 that can engage in the circumferential direction with the rotation stopping member 6. The rotation stopping member 6 is a shaft-shaped member extending in an axial direction, an outside section thereof with regard to a radial direction is positioned inside the retention groove 21, and an inside section thereof with regard to the radial direction is positioned inside the guidance groove 18 in a manner allowing sliding movement in the axial direction.
