Abstract:
In a nut (1) of this ball screw, a long hole (7), which penetrates in the radial direction, has the longitudinal direction formed along a lead angle θ, and has a portion of both longitudinal-direction side surfaces (7a), which are parallel to each other, for guiding a ball (115), is formed in a cut-out part (12). A circulating part includes: a first circulating component (2) which is disposed inside the cut-out part (12) so as to contact a lower wall surface (12a) of the cut-out part (12), and has a tongue part (4) accommodated inside the long hole (7); a second circulating component (3) which is disposed inside the cut-out part (12) so as to cover the first circulating component (2), and has a wall part (10a) accommodated inside the long hole (7) and facing the tongue part (4); and a pipe (5) which is disposed in a contact surface where the first circulating component (2) and the second circulating component (3) contact each other, and which constitutes a portion of a ball circulating path, the pipe being a stronger material than the first and second circulating components (2, 3).
