Abstract:
A ball body 2 is covered by a plurality of cover bodies 3 each of which is integrally formed from a soft material composed of a resin or rubber into a shape having a surface wall 31, a peripheral wall 32, and a recess 33. The recess 33 has a hollow portion 4 between the ball body 2 and each of the cover bodies 3, the hollow portion 4 being surrounded by the ball body 2 and the cover body 3 and forming a separation between the ball body 2 and surface wall 31. Each hollow portion 4 has both a cushion portion 5 and an air presence portion 6, allowing the cushion portion 5 to crumple when a person grasps a ball 1 so that the contact area between the surface of the ball 1 and pads of the fingers increase and thereby cause the ball 1 to be easier to grasp for the person, and when the person's grip in terms of crumpling the cushion portion 5 is weaker, the hand does not tire, so that a state in which the ball 1 is easier to grasp can be maintained for a long time.
