Abstract:
This band saw blade (1) comprises: a band-shaped endless trunk part (11); a tooth part (12) in which a tooth group (TG), which is a set of a prescribed number of teeth including a set tooth (Rw), is repeatedly formed on one edge side of the trunk part (11); and a coating layer (13) which is formed on the surface of the teeth (12a) of the tooth part (12). Each set tooth (Rw) has a first indentation part (T82) in the form of a recess (12b) in the coating layer (13) on the outer surface thereof in a shaking-out direction, and the thickness of the coating layer (13) in the recess (12b) of the first indentation part (T82) is less than the thickness of sections of the coating layer (13) other than in the recess (12b).
