Abstract:
A banknote-image-processing device (10), wherein a storage unit (12) stores an image of a normal banknote, and a processor (11) implements, on the image of a normal banknote, a simulated damage process in which damage applied to a normal banknote is simulated. For example, the processor (11) implements a hole-opening process, a cutting process, a tearing process, an angular folding process, a soiling process, or a washing process on the image of a normal banknote as the simulated damage process.
