Abstract:
This banknote processing device (10) has: a banknote storage (BS) that holds address information and stores banknotes; an impact detection unit (IMD) that generates an impact signal when a damaging impact event is detected; a label ID holding unit (C) that holds label ID information on staining labels for staining banknotes in each banknote storage by a banknote staining mechanism (ISM); and a condition information holding unit (MCA) that, when staining labels are bonded by the banknote staining mechanism to the banknotes in response to the impact signal, generates condition information including the address information and the label ID information and holds the condition information.
