Abstract:
This base frame 2 is used in an injection molding machine 1 provided with a clamping device 31 having a platen 32, has at least the clamping device 31 placed thereon, and supports said clamping device 31, wherein the base frame 2 is provided with a pair of main beams 3a, 3b which are positioned apart from each other in the width direction of the base frame 2 and extend side-by-side in the longitudinal direction of the base frame 2, and platen attachment plates 4 which are arranged on the main beams 3a, 3b and to which the platen 32 is attached; the outer edges Ed1, Ed2 of the platen attachment plates 4 in the aforementioned longitudinal direction include a welding area bonded by welding to the main beams 3a, 3b, and the shape of the platen attachment plates 4 is such that the length thereof in the aforementioned longitudinal direction is greater at the outer edge Ee than on the inside portion Pi in the width direction.
