Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a base portion, an inter-dental cleaning tool and a method of manufacturing an inter-dental cleaning tool with which it is possible to suppress bending of a shaft portion when a space is being filled from an insertion end with a resin material.
[Solution] This base portion has a shaft portion (20) and a gripping portion (30), and is used to form an inter-dental cleaning tool by a filling space being filled with a resin material, in a state in which the shaft portion (20) is clamped between holding pins inside a die shaped so as to form said filling space around the shaft portion (20), wherein the shaft portion (20) includes first guide grooves (24) formed on one side of a plane parallel to the axis of the shaft portion and second guide grooves (26) formed on the other side of the plane parallel to the axis, and the first guide grooves (24) and the second guide grooves (26) extend in the axial direction from an insertion end portion (22a) toward a base end portion, and each have a shape that sinks toward the center of the shaft portion (20) from parts of the outer peripheral surface of the shaft portion (20) other than the first guide grooves (24) and the second guide grooves (26).
