Abstract:
A base station apparatus (100) receives downstream radio quality information (CQI value) from a mobile device and stores and transmits downstream data to the mobile device. The base station apparatus has a timing control unit (107) and determines, based on the downstream radio quality information, an assumed downstream data speed (DRp) that indicates a speed available to the downlink. If the DRp is lower than a speed of receiving the downstream data from a network apparatus (DRp < DRr), then the base station apparatus calculates a data transmission completion period (Dcomp) from both the amount of data that has not been transmitted yet (Ar) and the assumed downstream data speed (DRp). In a case of a handover of the mobile device, the network apparatus does not transmit, to the base station apparatus, downstream data addressed to the mobile device after the time point (Tstop = AT − Dcomp) which is earlier than the timing of a base station apparatus switching event by the data transmission completion period.
