Abstract:
This base station device notifies another base station device of information indicating an instruction to measure a random access preamble transmitted by a terminal device for the positioning of the terminal device and a sequence used for the transmission of the random access preamble, instructs the terminal device to transmit the random access preamble by specifying the sequence, and uses the sequence to measure the random access preamble transmitted by the terminal device for the positioning of the terminal device. The position of the terminal device is estimated on the basis of results of the measurement of the random access preamble at the base station device and the other base station device.
