Title:
BASE STATION DEVICE, SERVICE PROVISION METHOD, AND PROGRAM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/142863
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to optimize switching of TRP in a base station that uses high-frequency band. This base station device is connected to a plurality of sending/receiving stations that each switch a transmission scheme according to the reception environment of a wireless terminal and provide a service to the wireless terminal. The base station device comprises: a history recording unit which records histories of beams and transmission schemes selected by the wireless terminal, respectively, with respect to the plurality of sending/receiving stations; a calculation unit which calculates a second throughput when the service has been received using one or more beams serving as selection candidates of the wireless terminal among beams sent by a second sending/receiving station different from a first sending/receiving station to which the wireless terminal is being connected; and a sending/receiving station selection unit which, if the second throughput satisfies a predetermined condition with respect to a first throughput that is an actually measured throughput from the first sending/receiving station to which the wireless terminal is being connected, provides the service from the second sending/receiving station to the wireless terminal by a beam and a transmission scheme that correspond to the second throughput.
