Abstract:
This base station equipment uses a first communication standard and a second communication standard to receive the handover of a terminal device that was performing communication with another base station equipment using the first communication standard in a communication system that shares a common frequency band, wherein this base station equipment acquires the first wireless quality of a first communication standard first prescribed signal in the terminal device at a time when the first prescribed signal was transmitted from the base station equipment while a second communication standard signal was not being transmitted in that frequency band, receives, from the other base station equipment, information about the second wireless quality of a second communication standard second prescribed signal in the terminal device, and, on the basis of the first wireless quality and the second wireless quality, determines a Modulation and Coding Scheme (MCS) when transmitting user data to the terminal device using the first communication standard and transmits the user data to the terminal device using said MCS.
