The present application provides a base station power backup management method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a computer program product, which relate to the technical field of communications. The method comprises: when the mains electricity of a base station is detected as powered down, obtaining in real time power backup information of the base station and average load power consumption demand during the predicted power supply of the power backup; when the real-time residual power backup prediction duration calculated and obtained on the basis of the base station power backup information and the average load power consumption demand is shorter than a preset power backup maintenance threshold duration, determining whether the base station is a key assurance station; if so, then generating a power backup maintenance work order and sending same to a maintenance personnel terminal; and if not, then when determined that a predicted power backup supply duration is shorter than a preset maximum power outage duration, sending a consumption reduction instruction so as to enable the base station to implement a preset power consumption reduction policy.
