Abstract:
Efficient notification of control information by a base station to a terminal is made possible in a wireless communications system wherein the base station and the terminal communicate. The base station communicates with the terminal by using a sub-frame configured by a plurality of resource block pairs. The base station sets a second control channel area, which is an area set differently from a first control channel area wherein a first control channel is arranged, to the terminal by using RRC signaling which is upper layer control information. The base station maps and sends the control information for the terminal to a second control channel arranged in the second control channel area. The first control channel area is set uniquely to the base station in the sub-frame and the second control channel area is set uniquely to the terminal in resource block pair units in the sub-frame.
