Abstract:
The present invention flexibly switches between multicast transmission using Multicast-Broadcast Single Frequency Network (MBSFN) sub-frames and inter-cell interference adjustment, without reducing resource usage efficiency. A transmission data determination unit determines, on the basis of the presence or absence of transmission data in an individual first region comprising at least some sub-frames from among a plurality of MBSFN sub-frames, whether to use the first region either as a first sub-frame which performs multicast transmission or a second sub-frame which performs inter-cell interference adjustment. A wireless communication interface unit performs transmission processing in the first region in accordance with the determination results.
