Disclosed are a base used for a bladeless fan and a bladeless fan. The base (10) comprises a main body part (11), a power system (12) and an elastic vibration damping device (16), wherein the main body part (11) comprises a housing (11a); the power system (12) is accommodated inside the housing (11a), the power system (12) is used for generating a high-pressure airflow, and the power system (12) comprises a connecting body (1212); an outside face of the connecting body (1212) forms a first protruding rib (1213) protruding outwards; the elastic vibration damping device (16) comprises an annular connecting member (166), the connecting member (166) being sheathed on the connecting body (1212); the power system (12) is borne on the connecting member (166) via the connecting body (1212); and an inside face of the connecting member (166) is provided with a first snap groove (1665), the first protruding rib (1213) snap fastening into the first snap groove (1665) to make the connecting member (166) sheathe on the connecting body (1212). The base can prevent the connecting body from generating excessive anticipated rotation in the circumferential direction, so as to ensure that the power system operates stably.
