Abstract:
The present invention obtains a basket-type rotor production method capable of preventing a gap from forming between a closing part and a rotor core in a radially outer part of a rotor slot during die casting and of preventing thermal stress from being generated in the rotor core as a result of the expansion of the closing portion. In a basket-type rotor production method in which a conductor is disposed, through die casting, in a rotor slot (13) formed in a radially outer part of a rotor core (1), die casting is carried out in a state in which a radially outer part of the rotor slot (13) is closed using a closing part (2) configured from the same material as the rotor core (1).
