Abstract:
This basketball is formed such that the back side of a natural leather for forming basketballs which has been subjected to embossing on a pre-treated smooth surface with a predetermined pattern printed thereon is attached to the surface of a carcass for forming basketballs. A method for manufacturing such basketballs comprises steps of: printing a predetermined pattern on a surface of a pre-treated smoothened natural leather for forming basketballs; embossing the printed surface; and attaching the back side of the embossed natural leather for forming basketballs to the surface of a carcass for forming basketballs.
