Abstract:
The present application discloses a batching method and apparatus for draw instructions, used for batching draw instructions at a driver layer under the condition that an upper-layer application does not carry out perception, so as to reduce draw calls, reduce the overheads of a CPU, a GPU and a memory, and shorten a blocking time of the GPU. The method comprises: acquiring a first draw instruction generated from an application layer at a driver layer; batching the first draw instruction with at least one second draw instruction into a third draw instruction at the driver layer, the at least one second draw instruction being one or more draw instructions to be batched; and sending the third draw instruction from the driver layer to a hardware layer for execution.
