Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a battery box body, a battery, an electric device, and a method and apparatus for preparing a box body. The box body comprises: an electrical cavity, which is used for accommodating multiple battery cells, the battery cells each comprising a pressure relief mechanism, the pressure relief mechanisms being used to actuate so as to release internal pressure when the internal pressure or temperature of the battery cells reaches a threshold; a thermal management component, which is used for accommodating a fluid so as to regulate the temperature of the battery cells; and a collection cavity, which is used for collecting emissions that are discharged from the battery cells and pass through the thermal management component when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated, wherein the electrical cavity and the collection cavity are disposed on two sides of the thermal management component, and the thermal management component is used to separate the electrical cavity and the collection cavity, and the wall of the collection cavity is provided with a first pressure relief area, the first pressure relief area being used to release the emissions within the collection cavity. The present application provides a battery box body, a battery, an electrical device, and a method and apparatus for preparing a box body, which can enhance battery safety.
