Abstract:
A battery cell according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an electrode assembly comprising a plurality of electrodes plates stacked together with separators interposed therebetween; and a battery case having an accommodation part in which the electrode assembly is mounted, wherein the electrode assembly includes a plurality of electrode tabs extending from the plurality of electrode plates respectively, the plurality of electrode tabs are aligned with each other such that electrode tabs having the same polarity are arranged on the same line to form an electrode tab arrangement, and at least one protective member is bonded to the ends of the plurality of electrode tabs.
