Abstract:
A battery cell according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a battery case having an electrode assembly stored in a storing portion, and comprising a sealing portion sealed by heat-welding the outer edge; and a positive electrode lead and a negative electrode lead which are electrically connected to respective electrode tabs included in the electrode assembly, and pass through the sealing portion and protrude in the outer direction of the battery case. A first protruding portion and a second protruding portion, protruding in the protruding direction of the electrode leads, are formed on one lateral surface of the battery case. The electrode leads are located between the first protruding portion and the second protruding portion.
