Abstract:
A battery container 1 comprising a metal can body 2 and a can lid 3, the circumferential edge of the can lid 3 being joined to the circumferential edge of an opening of the can body 2 which is formed to have a bottomed cylindrical shape, wherein: a bottom section 21 of the can body 2 is formed so as to include a curved surface; and the can lid 3 is formed so as to include a curved surface that curves in the same manner as the section of the bottom section 21 of the can body 2 formed into the curved surface.
