Abstract:

A battery device (100) and an electronic apparatus are provided. A case (10) of the battery device (100) has a body section (1002) and a bottom section (1004) provided in the central portion in the width direction (W), on one side in the thickness direction (H), of the body section (1002). Portions on both sides in the width direction (W) of the case (10) are formed as flat side surfaces (1006) parallel to each other and extending in the length direction (L), and one surface in the thickness direction (H) of the case (10) is formed as a flat bottom surface (1008). In portions on both sides in the width direction (W) of the case (10), there is provided a guide groove (1010) extending in the length direction (L). The guide groove (1010) engages with a projection provided in a battery receiving chamber of the electronic apparatus to position the case in the thickness direction (H). Thus the structure above enables the use of different kinds of battery devices with different capacities and enhances usability.
