Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a battery in which the ion concentration distribution of an electrolyte part is maintained constant even after charging/discharging, and to provide a battery module that can output high voltage. This battery is formed by laminating a positive electrode, an electrolyte part, and a negative electrode. The ratio σ⊥/σ|| between the ion conductivity σ⊥ of the electrolyte part in a direction (thickness direction) perpendicular to a surface in which the positive electrode and the electrolyte part come into contact with each other and/or a surface in which the negative electrode and the electrolyte part come into contact with each other, and the ion conductivity σ|| of the electrolyte part in a direction (in-plane direction) parallel to a surface in which the positive electrode and the electrolyte part come into contact with each other and/or a surface in which the negative electrode and the electrolyte part come into contact with each other, is at least 10.
