Abstract:
This battery management system (1) comprises: a battery-capacity-dividing unit (11) that virtually divides the capacity of a battery (62) mounted on a mobile body (60) into a prescribed number of regions; a capacity-change-receiving unit (12) that receives a capacity change request for requesting a change in the capacity of a first region allocated to a first user (U1); a capacity change adjustment unit (13) that, when a capacity change request is received, determines whether a capacity change is possible according to the capacity change request for a second region allocated to a second user (U2) other than the first user (U1); and a region capacity change unit (14) that changes the capacity of the first region and the second region according to the capacity change request when it is determined that the capacity change of the second region is possible according to the capacity change request.
