Abstract:
The present invention relates to a battery module comprising: a battery cell stack in which a plurality of battery cells are adjacently stacked on one another; a module case disposed on the outer surface to fix the battery cell stack; a bus bar for the electrical connection of electrode leads protruding from the battery cells; and a heat insulating member disposed outside the bus bar, wherein flames generated inside the battery module can be quickly and simply extinguished, and the flames inside can be prevented from spreading.
