Abstract:
A battery module (20) according to the present invention is configured to comprise: a plurality of batteries (secondary batteries) (31); one or more bus bars (40) which electrically connect the plurality of batteries (31) to each other; and a cooling plate (50) which comprises one or more passages (51) where a cooling agent flows, and which is in contact with the bus bars (40). Each one of the plurality of batteries (31) comprises: an electrode body; an outer package can in which the electrode body is contained; a cover which seals the opening of the outer package can; and a positive electrode terminal (42) and a negative electrode terminal (43), which are respectively inserted into a pair of through holes that are provided in the cover, and which are electrically connected to the electrode body, while being insulated from the cover. One of the positive electrode terminal (42) and the negative electrode terminal (43) is connected to the bus bars (40).
