Abstract:
Provided are a battery module and a battery pack which are able to suppress excessive heating of the battery module. A first battery module (12) has a plurality of cylindrical unit cells (24) and a cell holder (26) that has a substantially cuboid appearance, that has a plurality of accommodating holes (38) formed therein which penetrate a first surface (34) and a second surface (36) facing the first surface (34), and that accommodates one unit cell (24) in each accommodating hole (38). The first battery module (12) comprises a busbar (28a) having: a terminal part (40a) that is connected to unit cell (24) electrodes exposed to the exterior of the accommodating holes (38) at the first surface (34) or the second surface (36); and an extended part (42a) that is integrated with the terminal part (40a), is formed bent with respect to the terminal part (40a) and so as to extend along a side surface connecting to the first surface (34) and the second surface (36) of the cell holder (26), and is disposed so as to be capable of heat transfer with the side surface.
