Abstract:
A battery module (1) and a battery pack. The battery module (1) comprises: a battery pack (11) comprising multiple battery cells (111) arranged in an array, each battery cell (111) comprising an explosion-proof valve (1111); a cover plate (12) located on the batter pack (11); and thermosensitive assemblies (13) located between the batter pack (11) and the cover plate (12); wherein the thermosensitive assembly (13) is connected to the cover plate (12) and comprises a thermosensitive wire (131), and the thermosensitive wire (131) can provide a prompt signal that the explosion-proof valve (1111) of the battery cell (111) bursts. The battery module (1) can accurately and effectively transmit thermal runaway information of the battery cell (111) to the outside, so that the battery module (1) has thermal runaway early warning performance.
