Abstract:
A battery module (300) comprises unit cells (100) and temperature adjusting units (25, 26, 27, 28) for adjusting the temperatures of the unit cells (100). The plurality of unit cells (100) are connected in parallel to form assembled batteries (200), the plurality of which are connected in series to form the battery module (300). The temperature adjusting units are disposed at locations where the temperature of at least one unit cell in each of the assembled batteries is adjusted. At least one unit cell among the unit cells connected in series can thereby start to discharge, so that it is possible to discharge current as much as required when a vehicle or the like is started up, at an early stage with a low power consumption.
