Abstract:
A battery module (500) is provided with: a plurality of battery blocks (100), each of which is formed by having a plurality of unit batteries disposed therein; and hollow spacers (200) that are provided between two adjacent battery blocks. Housing members (150) and the spacers (200) may be formed of a same metal material. The spacers (200) may be formed by containing an insulating material for insulating the two battery blocks (100) from each other, said two battery blocks being connected to each other.
