Abstract:
Disclosed is a battery module. The battery module comprises: a bus bar comprising first and second parts, each electrically connected to a different battery pack; and a bus bar cover for insulating the bus bar by covering same, wherein the bus bar cover comprises first and second parts for covering the respective first and second parts of the bus bar, and a hinged part for rotatably connecting the first and second parts. The battery module according to the present invention can assure necessary insulation of the bus bar which electrically connects different battery packs, and can preemptively prevent malfunctions or safety-related accidents caused by short-circuiting in the bus bar in which high-voltage charging and discharging currents flow.
