Abstract:
A battery monitoring device, according to the present invention, is for a battery assembly provided with: a housing; and a plurality of battery cells received inside the housing. The battery monitoring device comprises: a first sensor for detecting the internal temperature of the housing; a second sensor for detecting the internal pressure of the housing; a third sensor for detecting internal gas of the housing; a power supply circuit for generating an operating voltage by using direct current power of the battery assembly; and a controller for, by using the operating voltage, switching the first sensor, the second sensor and the third sensor from a stopped state into an operating state. The controller monitors internal abnormalities of the battery assembly on the basis of detection values collected from the respective sensors which are in the operating state.
