Abstract:
A battery monitoring device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a profile generating unit configured to generate a differential profile indicating a correspondence relationship between a differential voltage indicating a rate of change of a voltage of a battery with respect to a SOC of the battery, and the SOC; and a control unit configured to calculate a curvature corresponding to a preset SOC section in the differential profile, compare the calculated curvature with a preset reference curvature for the battery, and determine whether lithium is precipitated from the battery, on the basis of the comparison result.
