Title:
BATTERY-OPERATED FLASHLIGHT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/098148
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The aim of the invention is to produce a highly user-friendly flashlight that reacts reliably to situations in which an illumination of the interior of a carrying bag or the like is desired and offers a wide variety of applications. This is achieved by a battery-operated flashlight comprising a housing (100) which has an upper face (110), a lower face (120), and at least one lateral wall (130). At least one battery (122a, 122b) is arranged in the housing (100), said flashlight having at least one light source (L; L1, L2) and an electronic system (IC) which is connected to the light source. At least one sensor (S) is arranged on the lateral wall (130) of the housing (100), said sensor being connected to the electronic system. A cover (D) is arranged on the upper face (100) of the housing, said cover being connected to the housing (100) in a rotatable manner, in particular in a foldable manner. A mirror (SP; SP`) is arranged on the interior or the exterior of the cover (D). Thus, a flashlight is proposed which can be designed in a very compact manner and which not only has a sensor system for automatically controlling light sources but is also provided with a movable cover and a mirror arranged thereon so that women in particular can also use the flashlight as a makeup aid.
