Abstract:
The present invention relates to a battery pack comprising: battery module housings for accommodating a plurality of battery cells; a battery pack case for accommodating at least one battery module housing; and a water tank which is positioned on one side surface of each battery module housing and accommodates cooling water, wherein the battery module housings are structured to surround the outer surfaces of the plurality of battery cells. The present invention can prevent thermal diffusion from occurring between neighboring battery modules, if a battery cell ignites in the battery pack comprising the plurality of battery modules.
