Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a small-size battery pack. The assembled battery 1 comprises a plurality of single batteries 3, each having a lid 4 and a container 5 constituting different poles from one another, which are arranged into parallel rows, the arrangement being such that the position of each of the lids 4 is inverted alternately between one side and another side in a direction intersecting with the direction of the rows of the plurality of single batteries 3, and the plurality of single batteries 3 are connected in series through bus bars 6. Additionally, the assembled battery 1 is characterized by having voltage detection wires 9 for detecting the voltage of each of the plurality of single batteries 3, and a wiring portion 2 whereto the voltage detection wires 9 are connected, the wiring portion 2 being disposed only on either one of the one side or the other side in the direction intersecting with the direction of the rows of the plurality of single batteries 3.
