Abstract:
This battery pack comprises: a plurality of battery cells in which the outer peripheral edge of a sealing plate is fixed to an opening in an outer can by a crimping part, with an insulation gasket therebetween; an outer case including the battery cells; a metal lead plate that is connected to the sealing plate and electrically connects adjacent battery cells; and a battery holder in which the battery cells are disposed at prescribed positions. The battery holder comprises an insulation cover that is located at a position facing the sealing plate and is located between the sealing plate and the lead plate. The insulation cover has a connection window that exposes an electrode at the position facing the sealing plate and connects the lead plate. The lead plate comprises a welding section that is guided by the connection window and is welded to the electrode, and a blocking section that is located in the connection window and blocks a gap between the insulation cover and the sealing plate.
