Abstract:
A battery rack according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises at least one battery pack and a rack frame on which the battery pack is held, wherein the battery pack includes: a battery cell stack in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked; a pack frame for accommodating the battery cell stack; and a cooling member which is positioned on the upper side of the battery cell stack and which includes cooling water, wherein the cooling member is connected to a water tank held on the rack frame, a lower plate of the cooling member has at least one fragile portion that breaks or melts above a predetermined temperature or pressure, and, when the fragile portion of the cooling member is opened so that the water level of the cooling water is lowered, the cooling water is supplied from the water tank to the cooling member.
