Abstract:
A battery system monitoring device of the present invention monitors a battery system including a cell group in which a plurality of unit battery cells are connected in series. The battery system monitoring device comprises: a first control device for controlling the cell group; and a plurality of voltage detection lines used for measuring the inter-terminal voltages of the unit battery cells and connecting each of the positive and negative electrodes of the unit battery cells to the first control device. The first control device includes a balancing switch provided for each of the unit battery cells, the balancing switch being connected between the voltage detection lines connected to the respective positive and negative electrodes of each of the unit battery cells and performing the balancing discharge of each of the unit battery cells. The voltage detection lines are each provided with a first resistor in series, and a first capacitor is connected between each of the voltage detection lines and the lowest voltage level (GND) of the cell group at a position between the first resistor provided in each of the voltage detection lines and a voltage detection line connection terminal of the first control device. A balancing discharge circuit comprising the balancing switch and a second resistor connected in series to the balancing switch is connected between each of the voltage detection lines connected to the positive electrodes of the unit battery cells and each of the voltage detection lines connected to the negative electrodes of the unit battery cells. The connection point between the balancing discharge circuit and each of the voltage detection lines connected to the positive electrodes of the unit battery cells and the connection point between the balancing discharge circuit and the voltage detection lines connected to the negative electrodes of the unit battery cells are each provided on the cell group side of the first resistor.
