Abstract:
A battery voltage monitoring device 1 is configured by being provided with: voltage detection lines 3 that are connected to both ends of each of a plurality of batteries 2 that are connected in series; a switch 41 and a resistor 42, which are connected in series, and are connected between the voltage detection lines 3 adjacent to each other; and a monitoring unit 5 that monitors a monitoring voltage between the voltage detection lines 3 adjacent to each other. The monitoring unit 5 diagnoses that an abnormality occurred in the voltage detection lines 3 when a difference Vd between a monitoring voltage Voff between the voltage detection lines 3 when the switch 41 is turned off, and a monitoring voltage Von between the voltage detection lines 3 when the switch 41 is turned on is equal to or more than a threshold value Vth.
