Abstract:
Disclosed are a beacon system for vehicle positioning and a vehicle positioning method. The system comprises several beacon devices arranged on a road surface and an intelligent lock arranged on a vehicle, wherein the intelligent lock and the beacon devices can communicate with each other; and the intelligent lock is used for obtaining current position information about a corresponding vehicle according to the signal strength of a received broadcast signal when the broadcast signal transmitted by the beacon devices is detected. In the present invention, a plurality of beacon devices are arranged at a roadside to communicate with an intelligent lock on a vehicle, the signal strength is determined according to the distance from the closest beacon device, and position information can be determined according to the signal strength. By means of the arrangement of the present invention, parking at a plurality of stations and normalized parking can be easily realized.
