Abstract:
Provided is a beam determination method. The method comprises: a first base station sending channel quality indication information from a UE to a second base station; the second base station selecting a beam used for sending downlink data to the UE from the beams attributed to the second base station, according to the channel quality indication information; and sending identification information about the selected beam to the UE via the first base station. Due to the fact that channel quality indication information can reflect a quick channel change, a second base station can select a suitable beam accurately and in time for a UE to transmit data, thereby enhancing the communication reliability.
